Promise (約束 Yakusoku?) is the ninth episode of Shirogane no Ishi Argevollen, it first aired in Japan on August 28, 2014.
Synopsis[]
Schlein Richthofen stops at a bar to meet up with his friend, Major Conrad Daniels. As the two reminisce about old times, Conrad reveals that both of them have been ordered to a forward base in Zong to help lead a full-scale assault into the heart of Arandas. Meanwhile, Ukyo Samonji informs the 8th Autonomous Unit that they have been ordered to quickly strike the Ingelmia base at Zong to stop the invasion before it starts. As Conrad arrives to inspect the base with Second Lieutenant Liz Roderick, the 8th Autonomous Unit attacks. As the Trail Kriegers move in to finish off the base, Conrad enters his own GUNBASS to fight against Tokimune Susumu in the ARGEVOLLEN. During the fight, Tokimune stabs him with his own knife, but afterwards back at the bar Richthofen is shown ordering two glasses in honor of his friend.
